Acceptable use

In short. GovernCore is the record a board and its auditors rely on. Keep it true, keep to what you are allowed to see, and leave the system alone.
1. Honest records
- Do not record what you know to be false, or alter minutes, votes, test results or evidence to change what happened.
- Vote and sign only for yourself.
- Declare your interests when GovernCore or your organisation asks.
2. Your account
- Do not share your password or let anyone else use your session.
- Do not sign in as someone else, or try to.
3. What you may see
- Do not try to reach records your role does not allow: another organisation's records, a confidential agenda item, a privileged legal matter, a speak-up report not assigned to you.
- Do not try to find out who made an anonymous speak-up report.
- Board papers downloaded or kept offline stay as confidential as they are in GovernCore. Do not pass them on outside your organisation's rules.
4. The system itself
- No scraping, automated sign-ins or load testing, except through the API with a key your organisation issued.
- Do not upload malware, or files you have no right to share.
- Do not try to get round the limits on sign-in attempts, links or uploads.
5. Speak-up
Report concerns in good faith. A report made to harm someone with something you know is untrue is misuse.
6. Security testing
If you think you have found a weakness, report it as Security describes, and do not test it further against real organisations' records.
7. Reporting misuse
Tell your organisation's administrator, or write to hello@neishot.com.
8. What happens
Misuse is recorded in the organisation's audit log. Nei Shot may suspend an account to protect the service or other organisations, and tells the organisation concerned. What follows within your organisation is for it to decide.
